The West is a kind of visual art forms such as film, television, radio, literature, painting and others. Westerns are devoted to telling stories that are mostly in the second half of 19th century American West Century Old, hence the name. Some westerns are set at the Battle of the Alamo in 1836. There are also a number of films about Western-type characters in contemporary contexts, such as Junior Bonner set up in 1970 and The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada in the 21 century.
Westerns often portray how life was hard and sorry for the families U.S. border. These families are faced with change, which would seriously affect their lifestyle. This can be illustrated by showing conflict between natives and settlers or U.S. cavalry, or between pastoralists and farmers ("Sodbusters"), or by showing ranchers threatened by the emergence of the Industrial Revolution. Despite being closely related to a particular time and place in American history, these themes has produced westerns and appreciated worldwide.
